About the Event

The 2009 proxy season has been unprecendented for its tension and drama.

To help investors get a clear view of the key issues and trends we are delighted to invite you to an informative, lively and interactive colloquium. To lead the debate we have assembled a panel of  industry experts who will explore the complexities of the voting season and discuss the implementation of the forthcoming Shareholder Rights Directive.

Expert Panel

Your moderator for the afternoon will the JP Hellebuyck of AXA Investment Managers. There will be a presentation of Manifest’s review of European voting results followed by a panel debate with contributions from Dr Daniel Summerfield of USS, Shade Duffy of AXA Investment Managers, Matt Christenson of EUROSIF and Cas Sydorowitz of Georgeson.

Who Should Attend

Format

All sessions will be conducted in English under “Chatham House Rules”, that is to say, all discusssions and comments are off the record and will go unreported unless otherwise stated.

Our host is Sir Peter Westmacott, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to France who has granted us the rare privilege of using the historic British Ambassador’s Residence which dates back to 1720.
